About this role
Alloy is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to establish a new technical function embedded with enterprise customers. As one of the first two engineers on this founding team, you'll architect end-to-end deployments, write production code across their full stack, and serve as the technical voice for strategic accounts while defining how the function operates.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize customer deployments across API integrations, third-party data sources, SDKs, and latency requirements
- Write production code in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and AWS
- Act as technical advisor to customer engineering leadership and make architectural decisions in real-time
- Own the engineering aspects of quarterly business reviews and provide on-call escalation support
- Convert deployment work into reusable platform primitives and documentation for future projects
