About this role
Allen Control Systems seeks a Mission Operations Engineer to bridge technical development and real-world deployment of autonomous defense systems. You'll plan and execute domestic and international mission events, support program managers, and translate complex technical capabilities for diverse stakeholders in defense operations.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute domestic and international mission events with coordination of operational readiness
- Support program managers in meeting client requirements and mission objectives
- Educate engineering teams on tactical implementation of autonomous systems in warfare contexts
- Assess and communicate capabilities and limitations of UAS platforms for real-world deployment
- Develop deep understanding of defense-in-depth technical characteristics and operational challenges
- Leverage knowledge of ML/CV/AI applications across optical, radar, and electronic warfare systems
