About this role
Alarm.com seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and manage cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions supporting life safety and home automation applications. The role involves collaborating across engineering teams to optimize deployment processes, cloud platform reliability, and operational efficiency in AWS and Azure environments.
What you'll do
- Design and develop continuous integration and automated infrastructure management tools across the cloud stack
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and AWX
- Architect and migrate on-premises workloads to AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across all environments and participate in on-call incident response
- Develop monitoring standards, operational runbooks, and alerting metrics to maintain platform health
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on cloud deployment and operational best practices
