About this role
Akuna Capital, an options market-making firm, is hiring a Performance Engineer to optimize trading systems across global exchanges. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to identify and implement performance improvements through software optimization, hardware analysis, and tool development.
What you'll do
- Design and implement trading engine improvements through benchmarking, latency analysis, and device evaluation
- Develop benchmarking tools and applications for testing new hardware and software
- Troubleshoot performance issues and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with Trading, Quant, and Technology teams using data-driven approaches
- Analyze proprietary systems to identify bottlenecks and improve technology stack
- Support performance across multiple strategies and global exchanges
