About this role
Airtable seeks experienced infrastructure engineers to build and enhance systems supporting their platform across compute, developer tooling, and traffic management. You'll own critical infrastructure components, improve developer experience, and work on foundational projects like Kubernetes management, CI/CD systems, and API gateway optimization.
What you'll do
- Lead improvements to infrastructure systems across compute, developer platform, or traffic engineering teams
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms and custom operators for managing workloads
- Design CI/CD systems, internal tooling, and frameworks to improve developer workflows
- Manage API gateway, edge networking, and request routing infrastructure for reliability and performance
- Own production infrastructure components including reliability, performance, and observability
- Work cross-functionally to solve complex systems-level problems at scale
