IT Systems Engineer
About this role
Airship seeks an IT Systems Engineer to support and evolve internal infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll manage enterprise systems, security compliance, automation, and disaster recovery while collaborating with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to keep operations reliable and scalable.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
- Administer enterprise systems, servers, and endpoints with regular updates and patching
- Manage identity and access controls including SSO, MFA, and security policy compliance
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline workflows and integrate SaaS applications
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Mentor IT team members and participate in on-call incident response support
