About this role
AgentMail is hiring a founding engineer to build backend infrastructure and APIs for an inbox platform designed specifically for AI agents. You'll own projects end-to-end, working on high-performance systems that enable agents to communicate and authenticate in the real world.
What you'll do
- Design intuitive APIs and abstractions for both human and AI agent users
- Build high-performance, low-latency infrastructure processing hundreds of thousands of emails daily
- Own projects from system design through production deployment
- Develop and maintain core distributed systems with strong technical documentation
- Gather and relay customer feedback as a product spokesperson
- Bridge cutting-edge AI capabilities with email and identity infrastructure
