Telecommunications Network Engineer - Basic
About this role
AGE Solutions seeks a Telecommunications Network Engineer to design, manage, and troubleshoot DoD local area networks supporting voice, data, video, and wireless services. The remote role requires 2+ years of IT experience, relevant certifications, DoD Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze telecommunications networks for voice, data, video, and wireless capabilities
- Develop installation and maintenance plans for telecommunications systems from inception through completion
- Define network problems, establish system requirements, and create detailed network specifications
- Coordinate with IT professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services
- Work independently on moderately complex network analysis, planning, and implementation tasks
- Develop alternative solutions and backup plans with functional users
