About this role
AGE Solutions is hiring a Cloud Storage Engineer to manage hybrid cloud storage infrastructure for a DoD customer. The role involves provisioning, operating, and maintaining cloud and on-premise storage systems while ensuring compliance, security, and high availability across multiple government locations.
What you'll do
- Provision, install, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premise storage hardware, software, and infrastructure
- Plan and implement hybrid storage solutions with technical guidance and hands-on delivery
- Manage enterprise SAN, storage arrays, fiber switches, and backup/disaster recovery systems
- Monitor data restore capabilities, perform DR failovers, and maintain high availability for critical systems
- Document specifications, configurations, policies, and create technical reports for varied audiences
- Perform storage analysis, capacity planning, and recommend process improvements and optimizations
