About this role
Lead technical strategy and execution for advanced additive manufacturing unmanned systems across defense platforms. Serve as chief technical authority overseeing system architecture, multidisciplinary teams, and compliance with defense standards while driving innovation in autonomy, integration, and mission-critical performance.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership for UAS development from concept through deployment and sustainment
- Serve as technical authority for system architecture, design trades, integration strategies, and risk management
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams spanning mechanical, electrical, software, autonomy, and cybersecurity disciplines
- Lead system engineering processes including requirements development, verification, validation, and configuration management
- Direct major technical reviews and ensure compliance with DoD standards, MIL-STDs, and export regulations
- Support proposal development and customer engagement with government and defense partners
