Software Developer III - Forecast Systems and Visualization
About this role
AccuWeather seeks an experienced Software Developer III to modernize core forecast processing systems and weather data visualization. You'll design and implement reliable software components that handle real-time weather content for consumer and enterprise products, working cross-functionally in an Agile environment.
What you'll do
- Develop testable, deployable software for production environments with monitoring capabilities
- Handle data ingestion, transformation, loading, and optimization from multiple sources
- Document software changes and provide technical support for errors and inquiries
- Revise and enhance software for system improvements and environment changes
- Train end users and technical staff on production software releases
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project expectations
