About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect federal government systems through vulnerability assessments, risk mitigation, and compliance management. This on-site San Diego role requires an active Secret clearance and involves conducting security testing, STIG checks, and maintaining RMF documentation for NIST 800-53 compliance.
What you'll do
- Conduct vulnerability management and comprehensive security assessments on systems, networks, and data
- Identify and mitigate risks across software, hardware, and networking components
- Perform STIG checks and system security testing in lab and site-based environments
- Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts with technical input and security control evidence
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize remediation and ensure Risk Management Framework compliance
- Maintain RMF documentation and provide security recommendations
