About this role
Accenture Federal Services is hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to design and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in a DevSecOps environment for federal government clients. You'll lead infrastructure automation, container orchestration with EKS, and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring development teams on cloud best practices.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS environments with core services like VPC, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS
- Architect and operate containerized workloads using Amazon EKS with cluster management and security
- Implement security controls, encryption, and access management to meet DISA STIG compliance standards
- Provide cloud expertise to development teams and optimize their platform usage
- Evaluate and recommend cloud-native technologies to enhance efficiency
- Champion best practices in Git workflows and AI-assisted development tools
