About this role
Heart Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production development for the ES-30 hybrid-electric aircraft, scaling complex components from prototype to full manufacturing capability. You'll own process optimization across multiple subsystems while collaborating with design, technicians, and supply chain partners in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable manufacturing processes for aircraft structures, propulsion systems, avionics, and battery subsystems
- Develop and optimize workflows to improve build efficiency, quality, and repeatability
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks using root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques
- Design and specify custom tooling, fixtures, and equipment for manufacturing operations
- Lead hands-on builds and support transition from prototype to production rate
- Collaborate with design engineers and supply chain partners on manufacturability and scalability
