The role combines strategic system design with hands-on laboratory work, requiring proven expertise in high-power electronics across industries like automotive, aerospace, or energy storage.

What you'll do

  • Design and architect high-power electronics including on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, and traction inverters
  • Lead end-to-end testing and integration of power electronics with powertrain and charging ecosystem components
  • Oversee complex PCB design for high-reliability, high-performance applications per IPC standards
  • Conduct DFMEA, thermal analysis, worst-case circuit analysis, and validation testing on HV systems
  • Architect test benches and provide hands-on support for board, component, and vehicle-level bring-up
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot electrical and EMI issues; engage with suppliers on component selection
