Site Reliability Engineer, Client Platform

Los Angeles, CA$164k–$270kfulltimemidAdded 1 month ago

About this role

Hadrian seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to build scalable, automated solutions for managing device fleets across their rapidly expanding advanced manufacturing operations. You'll own MDM platforms, implement self-healing infrastructure, and ensure end-user experience reliability while supporting compliance requirements for aerospace and defense production.

What you'll do

  • Administer and optimize MDM platforms (Fleet DM, Intune, Workspace ONE) using OS-level scripts to autonomously resolve device issues
  • Develop telemetry and analytics to understand device lifecycles and prevent end-user disruption
  • Create dashboards and alerts that measure end-user experience as service level objectives
  • Partner with Security, IT, and Infrastructure teams to translate CMMC compliance into code-managed configuration baselines
  • Build self-healing automation solutions that resolve recurring issues like disk pressure, certificate expiry, and agent drift
  • Own incident response and close the loop with automation rather than manual runbooks

What they're looking for

  • Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents)
  • MDM platform experience (Fleet DM, Intune, Jamf, or Workspace ONE)
  • Patch management and endpoint hardening on macOS and Windows
  • Vulnerability remediation and security configuration
  • SRE practices including SLOs, error budgets, and blameless postmortems
  • API integration and automation frameworks
  • Operating systems fundamentals from kernel level up

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Equity participation
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Relocation support available for certain situations

  • Describe a time you identified a recurring user-impacting issue and built an automated script or tool to remediate it instead of creating a ticket-based workflow. What was the issue and what language did you use?
