About this role
Hadrian seeks an experienced CMM Programmer to develop and optimize PC-DMIS inspection programs for complex aerospace and defense parts in a fully automated, lights-out manufacturing environment. You'll work at the intersection of precision metrology and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure inspection reliability and drive process improvements.
What you'll do
- Create and optimize PC-DMIS programs for New Product Integration work orders
- Interpret GD&T requirements from engineering drawings and resolve discrepancies
- Design fixtures to support automated CMM inspection processes
- Troubleshoot PC-DMIS programs and improve internal specifications
- Collaborate with CMM technicians, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and CAM teams
- Support prove-outs of complex geometries with custom probes and setups
What they're looking for
- PC-DMIS programming (2+ years experience)
- Engineering drawing interpretation and GD&T knowledge
- Metrology and machine shop experience
- CAD software (NX preferred)
- Automated inspection process design
- PC-DMIS API and VB scripting (preferred)
- 5-axis machining familiarity (preferred)
- Fixture design and troubleshooting
