About this role
Hadrian seeks a CAM Programmer to develop CNC programs and CAM packages for complex aerospace and defense components. You'll bridge manufacturing and software R&D, creating precise machining programs while contributing feedback to improve internal automation technologies and processes.
What you'll do
- Generate CAM files and CNC programs adhering to Hadrian's design standards for close-tolerance components
- Create comprehensive work instruction documents for operators at all skill levels
- Design 3D fixtures using Siemens NX CAD with advanced techniques like 3-2-1 locating and error-proofing
- Identify process gaps, bugs, and workflow issues and communicate findings to improve automation software
- Incorporate team feedback to optimize machining programs and ensure consistent, repeatable output across production runs
- Operate hyperMILL and NX software, leveraging Hadrian's Co-Pilot CAM automation tools daily
