About this role
HackerRank seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the primary technical presence in customer engagements, leading pilots, demos, and supporting adoption of their developer assessment platform. This hybrid NYC role blends customer-facing technical leadership with hands-on delivery, requiring someone who can configure integrations, debug applications, and translate between engineers and business stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead customer discovery, pilots, and technical demos as the primary voice in prospect and enterprise customer interactions
- Partner onsite with customers to uncover developer needs and design goal-driven solutions
- Configure, debug, and explain web applications and integrations; generate API scripts as needed
- Keep customer projects organized and on track through disciplined execution and proactive communication
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to amplify customer feedback
- Use AI and appropriate tools to deliver faster, more reliable customer outcomes

Benefits
