About this role
Gotion Inc. seeks a Utilities Equipment Engineer to manage and optimize industrial utility systems at their new Illinois battery manufacturing facility. You'll oversee equipment operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting while supervising technicians and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do
- Supervise daily activities of utility maintenance engineers and technicians
- Operate and maintain air compressors, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, dust collection, VOC treatment, and wastewater systems
- Establish preventive maintenance plans and inspection standards for all utility equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and resolve abnormalities to ensure high availability
- Lead technical improvement initiatives and optimize utility system performance
- Coordinate with production, facilities, and EHS teams; maintain documentation and SOPs
