About this role
Gotion Inc. seeks a Thermal Engineer to lead battery thermal design and CFD simulations for next-generation EV and energy storage systems. You'll collaborate with OEM customers and internal teams to optimize battery pack performance from concept through production at the Manteno, IL facility.
What you'll do
- Conduct thermal and CFD simulations to analyze battery pack performance and thermal propagation
- Drive new battery pack designs from concept to mass production with US OEM customers
- Correlate simulation results with physical test data and refine modeling accuracy
- Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams on simulation-driven solutions
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to leadership and stakeholders
- Support design reviews, DFMEA, and DVP&R test planning activities

Benefits
