About this role
Gotion Inc., a leading electric vehicle battery manufacturer, seeks a Process Engineer to support lithium-ion cell production at their Manteno, Illinois facility. The role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, implementing new equipment and technologies, and ensuring quality standards during production ramp-up.
What you'll do
- Support equipment selection, technical specifications, and integration into production processes
- Lead engineering during production trial runs and capacity ramp-up, resolving technical issues
- Create and review process documentation including flowcharts, standards, and work instructions
- Investigate and resolve cell production line problems, tracking issues to prevent recurrence
- Evaluate and introduce new equipment and process technologies to the production line
- Design process experiments, collect and analyze data, and prepare technical reports
