About this role

Gotion Inc. seeks a Junior Process Engineer to support lithium battery cell manufacturing at their new Manteno, IL facility. You'll assist senior engineers with process development, production ramp-up, documentation, and troubleshooting in a high-volume manufacturing environment while building hands-on experience in battery production.

What you'll do

  • Support process flow selection, equipment integration, and technical requirements for cell production lines
  • Assist during production trials, equipment installation, debugging, and validation activities
  • Monitor process stability, yield, and production metrics during capacity ramp-up
  • Maintain and review process documentation including flowcharts, standards, and work instructions
  • Support investigation and resolution of on-site process issues and contribute to problem-solving activities
  • Collect data, conduct basic statistical analysis, and assist with process experiments and improvement reports
