About this role
Gotion Inc., a leader in battery and energy storage technology, seeks an Industrial Design Engineer to lead product design for kitchen appliances. You'll drive the complete design cycle from user research through prototyping, translating customer needs into innovative, user-centered solutions for domestic appliance applications.
What you'll do
- Lead design projects independently while managing budgets, timelines, and quality reviews
- Conduct user-centered design research, concept exploration, prototyping, and validation testing
- Translate customer needs and business requirements into compelling, efficient designs
- Create visual designs through sketching, CAD modeling, and prototyping to communicate solutions
- Develop color, material, and finish (CMF) strategies and graphic visualizations
- Stay current with design trends through market research and competitive analysis
