About this role

Gotion Inc. seeks a Battery Cell Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison between the company and US automotive OEM customers. This role involves leading technical discussions on lithium-ion cell design, performance, and safety while bridging customer requirements with internal development teams throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Act as primary technical contact for OEM customers on battery cell topics and roadmap
  • Lead technical reviews and workshops from RFI through mass production phases
  • Translate customer system-level requirements into cell design specifications with internal teams
  • Develop test methodologies and analyze cell performance data for safety, durability, and degradation
  • Support quality and industrialization activities including APQP, PPAP, and customer audits
  • Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally for customer engagement
