About this role
Glean is hiring a Backend/Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain the storage layer powering their Work AI platform. You'll own critical infrastructure handling enterprise data, permissions, and real-time signals across multiple cloud providers, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency at scale.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve storage systems handling sensitive enterprise data, permissions, and behavioral signals
- Deliver robust uptime guarantees, autoscaling, and monitoring across multi-cloud infrastructure
- Own infrastructure problems from architecture through production launch
- Design and implement self-healing systems to reduce manual intervention
- Write design documents and high-quality, well-tested code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diverse workloads
