About this role
General Matter seeks a Test Engineer to design and maintain test infrastructure for hardware validation in nuclear fuel production. You'll lead test planning, data analysis, and reliability improvements while collaborating closely with design and manufacturing teams.
What you'll do
- Design and develop custom test solutions and data acquisition systems for mechanical and electrical hardware
- Lead design reviews, conduct data analysis, and define/execute hardware test plans
- Build test equipment and implement test automation for qualification campaigns
- Analyze failures and work with design engineers to drive reliability improvements
- Design and fabricate test fixtures and adapters as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and support manufacturing processes
