Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure
About this role
FieldAI seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain internal developer infrastructure supporting their robotics AI teams. You'll design development environments, build systems, and tooling that enable multiple engineering teams to ship reliably and efficiently across a monorepo architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain development environments and build systems for engineering teams
- Own tooling infrastructure that supports robotics, web, AI/ML, and data engineering
- Improve code quality, developer velocity, and system consistency across the monorepo
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on platform improvements
- Support multiple engineering disciplines with integrated developer experiences
- Drive reliability and efficiency of internal systems used company-wide
